Senior Security Engineer (SECRET Clearance Required)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a fully remote role supporting a federal agency. This position is fully remote, working on eastern standard time hours. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Responsibilities:

· Perform security audits, vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and security reviews

· Develop and implement technical solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities

· Research and identify new and emerging attack vectors

· Support scanning and other security operational responsibilities

Requirements:

· 8 years of working experience

· Bachelor's degree

· Active Secret clearance

· 5+ years of experience performing security audits, vulnerability testing, risk analysis

· 5+ years of experience developing and implementing security solutions

· Experience with Nessus, Splunk, and other security tools

· Experience in containers in AWS

· Experience in Agile, CI/CD environments

Compensation:

· $110,000-115,000 annual salary
