Titan Technologies is seeking a Senior Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support a mission-focused Government customer by delivering the full lifecycle of services needed to advance and modernize critical software capabilities. This includes end-to-end technical and evaluative expertise for the design, development, sustainment, and modernization of mission-critical evaluative applications, enterprise cloud infrastructure, AI/ML driven analytics, emerging capabilities research and analysis, systems engineering and integration, and cybersecurity.
Job Description
The RTE facilitates and manages the flow of value through an Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring smooth and efficient software releases. They act as a servant leader and coach for the ART, optimizing processes, resolving impediments, and fostering continuous improvement. RTEs work closely with various stakeholders, including product management, development teams, and other ART leaders, to align strategy and execution, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery.
This role is pivotal in synchronizing the activities of multiple teams, facilitating communication between stakeholders, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement within the ART. As a senior leader, the RTE provides guidance on Lean Agile principles, oversees program level events, and ensures alignment with organizational goals while navigating the complexities of Agile software development projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the strategic leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring the seamless execution of Agile practices to deliver high value solutions.
- Serve as the leader and coach for the ART, synchronizing activities across multiple SAFe architecture, matrix support, and development teams.
- Facilitate key Agile Release Train events, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and periodic synchronization events like the ART sync. Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs) to ensure program alignment.
- Plan and execute PI planning sessions, enabling teams to define and prioritize features and capabilities.
- Identify and manage program level risks and dependencies, ensuring seamless integration of deliverables.
- Escalate and resolve impediments that impact ART performance, collaborating with stakeholders to drive resolution. Metrics and Reporting: Lead SAFe metrics reporting for senior leaders, utilizing Agile Program Management Tools to provide actionable insights and progress updates.
- Facilitate economic decision making by assisting teams with feature and capability estimation and rolling up to Epics, when required.
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters on Lean Agile principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and a growth mindset.
- Drive relentless improvement within the ART by promoting the use of industry best practices and tools.
- Act as the primary liaison between Agile teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and expectations.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on ART progress, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
You MUST have:
- A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
- 5+ years' experience with SAFe implementations.
- SAFe RTE or SPC certification.
- Proven experience facilitating Agile/SAFe ceremonies across time zones and distributed teams.
- Deep knowledge of SAFe, Lean-Agile, and DevSecOps practices.
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and related Agile tools.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills across technical and business teams.
- Skilled in risk identification and mitigation to ensure program success.
It's GREAT if you also have:
- Background in Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) integration, cloud migration, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Experience integrating security and DevOps pipelines in high-assurance environments.
- Track record of mentoring Scrum Masters and Agile teams to higher levels of maturity.
Education:
- BS degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
