Location: Fort Belvoir, VA (100% Onsite)

Overview:
Seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and support secure, mission-critical cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on AWS and Azure. This role supports defense and commercial clients and requires hands-on expertise in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and IT modernization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions using AWS and Azure
Support RMF compliance, DISA STIGs, and vulnerability remediation
Develop infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform
Manage virtualized (VMware) and containerized (Kubernetes/Docker) environments
Collaborate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams
Provide Tier 3 support, system optimization, and technical documentation
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure
Knowledge of RMF, DISA STIGs, and tools like Nessus and Splunk
Experience with VMware, Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC
Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Windows/Linux server and network architecture experience
Preferred:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert
CompTIA Security+ CE
DoD IT and accreditation experience
