Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for the National Technical Intelligence Group (NTIG) Director to serve on the Radiance leadership team. This position requires a talented and experienced senior technical leader that will lead, assist, strategize and develop organic growth and new business for over 250 employee-owners within the National Security arena. The Group Technical Director will advise on the technical direction as well as support direct work with current and future programs; help mature technical capabilities (internal investments; engagement, and contributions; and technical reports to identify key business pursuits); manage technical conference attendance, presentations, and exhibits; and manage the inter- and intra-sector collaboration to ensure the most comprehensive capabilities of NTIG are brought to bear to meet customers' technical requirements. These tasks include technical proposal development, and capture planning. Moderate travel may be necessary to build relevant strategies, attend customer events, present at technical conferences, provide technical assessments, represent NTIG capabilities and identify opportunities for pursuit.

Responsibilities:
Work with the Group Manager and Ops Managers within NTIG to:
- Perform scientific analysis of data from non-traditional ISR sources, developing innovative methods to extract valuable information from datasets with inherent data quality limitations.
- Develop and validate sensor collection techniques and AI/ML algorithms for characterization across multiple phenomenologies.
- Work with NTIG Ops Managers to identify new opportunities for Internal Research and Development (IRAD) necessary for the technical growth areas.
- Assist NTIG Ops capture and proposal solution architects in responsibilities and performance to ensure comprehensive technical solutions are identified and matured in a timely manner within the proposal development process and the technical solution is consistently represented across proposal volumes.
- Develop and execute technical maturation strategies that integrate current functional and mission capabilities, target future capabilities based upon comprehensive customer mission analysis, and technical growth areas to bridge current and future capabilities.
- Identify and develop strategic relationships with current and prospective customers within the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and other National Security related agencies.
- Identify and develop strategic teaming opportunities across the defense, intelligence, and commercial industrial base, aligned to the group and sector vision.
Required Skills:
- PhD in Physics
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership to medium/large organizations.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate within a multi-disciplined team.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication proficiency for complex technical concept articulation using written journal articles, conference papers, research documentation and oral presentations.
- Experience producing strategic technical documentation and plans to establish technology maturation strategies and roadmaps, technical solutions, and operational concepts.
- Experience managing, mentoring, and growing technical personnel and providing technical tract career advancement advice to leadership and employees.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years' experience supporting the DoD and/or IC community.
- Matter Expert (SME) for OPIR sensor R&D and GEOINT mission area.
- Experience writing and/or reviewing technical proposals to ensure technical solution meet the desired government requirement.
- Experience developing innovative technical solutions to meet DoD and/or IC requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- 20+ years' experience supporting the DoD and/or IC community.
- Post-Graduate professional certificate involving a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of defense, intelligence, and commercial markets.
- Relationships across the defense, intelligence, and commercial markets.
- Demonstrated proficiency coordinating internal and external investment to establish innovative, mature capabilities aligned with customer mission areas and solicitations.
- Experience with Department of Defense customers (such as, but not limited to: AFRL, NASIC, NSIC, MSIC, NGIC, ONI, DARPA, NRO, Defense Research Laboratories, MDA).
