Raytheon's Radar Digital Product Line (RDPL) team in Fullerton, California, is growing! We are seeking motivated Software Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology solutions, grow your expertise in the radar domain, and engage in potential travel to support radar site operations. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact.
This role will be 100% on-site in Fullerton, California.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with Scrum teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot radar software solutions.
Assist in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
Contribute to the development of new work products or enhance existing applications and systems.
Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in C++ and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
Participate in technical reviews of software components and systems.
Follow established Agile/SCRUM development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
Support radar site operations through domestic and international travel opportunities.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
Familiarity with object-oriented programming in C++
Experience or coursework in software development
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycle practices
Experience or coursework in Unix/Linux operating systems
Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git or similar tools)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies through coursework or internships
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation
Desire to learn new technologies, tools, and processes
Strong interest in problem solving and software troubleshooting

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 118,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
