Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and implementation of terrestrial network connectivity solutions, including inside plant components
- Design, provision, and managing WAN circuits to support commercial internet access and organizational connectivity needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into enterprise environments
- Develop and maintain network documentation, configuration standards, and performance metrics
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions to maintain high availability and performance
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network reliability, scalability, and security
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in network engineering or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Must be a US Citizen - Able to obtain a Public Trust
- CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+
- Proven experience with WAN design, provisioning, and management
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network infrastructure best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
