Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and related Esri products.
- Create instructional materials such as manuals, tutorials, and presentations tailored to various skill levels.
- Conduct hands-on workshops and virtual training sessions to ensure practical understanding of GIS concepts and tools.
- Assess trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
- Stay current with the latest ArcGIS updates, GIS trends, and best practices to ensure training content remains relevant.
- Collaborate with technical teams and clients to customize training solutions based on specific project needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during and after training sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ Years proven experience working with ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Previous experience as a technical instructor, trainer, or educator, preferably in GIS or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and cartography.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles and technical backgrounds.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python for GIS automation is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
