Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Army force structure, authorizations, and organizational hierarchy.
  • Document and refine business rules, workflows, use cases, data relationships, and exception handling.
  • Translate business requirements into specifications consumable by solution architects and developers.
  • Support mapping of GFIM DI requirements into GFM DI functional capabilities.
  • Validate data model correctness, including unit hierarchy, personnel/equipment relationships, and lifecycle events.
  • Participate in backlog grooming, PI planning, sprint reviews, and UAT sessions.
  • Work with Army stakeholders to ensure functional alignment with mission objectives.
  • Support legacy-system analysis (FMS, AFPEDS, AOS, SAMAS, FMSWeb) and define migration rules.
  • Provide input to the user documentation, functional SOPs, and training guides.
  • Acting as proxy Product Owner and assists the customer product owner and CACI scrum teams manage the product backlog.
  • Support development of product roadmaps.
  • Liaising between developers and project stakeholders.
  • Analyzing new and complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving prioritizing/ordering of requirements, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
  • Possess both an understanding of real-world mission/business objectives and a working knowledge of software development practices and technologies.
  • Consult CACI leadership on the capture, analysis, and management of functional and non-functional systems requirements.
  • Show a demonstrated skill in effective decomposition of mission/business objectives into requirements contained within a product backlog which can then be implemented in a series of short and iterative development cycles.
  • Clearly communicate business needs to the development team through user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, Product Architect as well as the product development team during the development cycle to ensure the customer needs are being met.
  • Review and evaluate work done by development team to ensure proper scope has been met.
  • Familiar with low-code / no-code platforms


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Deep knowledge of Army force-structure processes and systems (FMS, FMSWeb, AOS, SAMAS, DRRS-A, Army Vantage, etc.)
  • Understanding of Global Force Management (GFM) requirements and GFM DI data standards.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an active secret DoD security clearance (ability to attain interim will be considered).
  • College degree (B.S., M.S.) in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Software development background, with a minimum of five (5) solid years' experience facilitating incremental software development projects (using an Agile approach preferable).
  • Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, demonstrations, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic and is a self-starter.
  • Experience developing business processes, capability needs, and business requirements.
  • Experience translating business requirements into user stories, use cases and technical requirements.
  • Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories.
  • Acts independently to expose and resolve problems.
  • Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint.
