Security Clearance: TS/SCI required (Must be active in DISS).
Location: 100% onsite in Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Minimum Requirements:
⦁ Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) or equivalent.
⦁ Experience applying STIGs, security patches, and compliance controls.
⦁ Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, NFS, etc.).
⦁ Familiarity with Kubernetes.
⦁ Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Bash, or Python scripting.
⦁ Working knowledge of virtualization and storage management.
⦁ DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and related systems.
⦁ Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across multiple environments.
⦁ Apply and maintain STIG compliance, patching, and security configurations in accordance with DoD standards.
⦁ Automate deployments, configurations, and system tasks using Ansible, Chef, or similar tools.
⦁ Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application hosting.
⦁ Monitor and troubleshoot system performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and related tools.
⦁ Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
⦁ Collaborate with cybersecurity, development, and network teams to ensure secure and efficient operations.
⦁ Document system changes, configurations, and operational procedures.
