FULL DESCRIPTION: We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Tester II to support a classified data and engineering initiative. This role provides critical QA support to ensure the accuracy, performance, and security of complex, data-driven systems operating within AWS IL6+ environments. The ideal candidate will combine technical testing expertise, strong analytical capability, and a passion for validating mission-critical systems that directly support national objectives.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across complex data-centric applications hosted in secure AWS IL6+ environments.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases, scripts, and validation plans to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Prepare, manage, and validate large data sets, including generation of synthetic data or secure transformation of production data for testing.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and cloud specialists to identify issues, validate performance, and ensure compliance with system requirements.
• Isolate, reproduce, and document software defects; coordinate with development teams to verify fixes and confirm issue resolution.
• Review and enhance testing frameworks to support scalability, repeatability, and compliance with mission requirements.
• Participate in agile development cycles and support CI/CD testing automation within DevSecOps environments.
• Contribute to quality metrics reporting and process improvement initiatives to ensure consistent delivery of secure, high-quality solutions.

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• 7+ years of experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years in software testing and quality assurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proven experience developing, executing, and maintaining testing plans and automated test scripts.
• Demonstrated success validating complex data workflows and ensuring end-to-end data integrity across distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS-based testing environments, including classified cloud deployments at IL6+.
• Strong understanding of defect management, root cause analysis, and performance validation.
• Experience with test management and automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or similar frameworks.

Salary Range: $133-161k/year
