Application Developer (TS/SCI w/ Poly) – Geospatial Data & API Development
Location: Onsite – Herndon, VA & Springfield, VA (SCIF access required)
Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (Must be active and customer-verified)

Overview:
We are seeking two highly capable Application Developers to join a classified program supporting geospatial data integration, API development, and secure data delivery. The developers will work from secure facilities in Springfield and Herndon, VA, collaborating on full-stack features and integrating complex geospatial data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain full-stack applications processing geospatial data
Build APIs and integration workflows for data ingestion and transformation
Leverage spatial libraries and file formats to process raster/vector data
Implement CI/CD best practices and Python testing frameworks
Collaborate closely with DevOps, security, and data engineering teams
Minimum Requirements:
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly, with Springfield Customer account access (SBU, SECNET, COE)
Must be able to work in SCIF as required
7+ years of professional application development experience
Strong proficiency in Python and modern frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI)
Experience with geospatial libraries (GDAL, GeoPandas, Shapely, etc.)
Understanding of spatial formats and coordinate systems
Experience with API security, authentication, and documentation
Git version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Vector and raster data processing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of MLOps or ML pipeline orchestration (Kubeflow, Airflow, MLflow)
Containerized ML workload management with Docker and Kubernetes
GPU optimization for inference containers
Advanced data pipeline optimization and real-time serving
ML observability and monitoring experience
