Role Description:
Seeking a motivated AI/ML prototype developer to support a fast-pace d team delivering innovative, mission-focused solutions. In this role, you will work closely with mission stakeholders to capture requirements and create innovative prototypes and deploy solutions to evaluate and tune machine learning models ability to integrate, reference, make inferences and consolidate data into a holistic view.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
In compliance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work law, the annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $240,000. This range represents the base pay for this role and is provided in accordance with Maryland's requirements to disclose compensation in job postings. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, candidates hired into this position may be eligible for a hiring bonus of $10,000.00, subject to applicable contingencies and Navstar policy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- To be eligible for this position you must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Collaborate closely with customers to enable acceleration to evaluate and tune machine learning models ability to integrate, reference, make inferences and consolidate data into a holistic view.
- Technical Proficiency: Creatively write and evolve prototype techniques leveraging diverse architecture and methods. Provide database administration, dataflow engineering, data wrangling, and model development.
- Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or equivalent. Proficiency with, but not limited to, Python (i.e. SciKit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), R, GIT and experience with Jupyter Notebooks. Ability to provide database administration for relational databases and TensorFlow.
- Proficiency in augmenting, providing context, and/or fine-tuning large language models for generative tasks using approaches such as but not limited to, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and model context protocol (MCP).
