As a Solutions Architect, you'll develop a deep understanding of Chainalysis' solutions and offerings. You’ll become a trusted technical advisor, able to explain complex topics to a variety of audiences in a compelling-yet-understandable way that also inspires confidence. You'll directly impact some of our most strategic customers by building bespoke solutions that support both the deployment and the integration of our projects. This may include mission integration, technical integration, use case demonstrations, and support.

Eventually, you’ll be able to provide guidance on technical challenges ranging from high-level architecture to code implementation. Throughout all of these activities, you'll provide feedback to enhance the value and experience the government customer has with Chainalysis' solutions.



In this role, you'll:

Partner with the Sales team and lead customer-facing technical discussions and activities related to “value creation” and solution development to achieve the technical win

Build customer-specific solutions for the deployment and integration of Chainalysis products

Communicate and translate complex technical requirements to the Product and Engineering team to build and add new features and improve existing capabilities

Demonstrate Chainalysis solutions in such as way as to inspire audience confidence

Become a trusted technical advisor to both internal and external customers

Identify and highlight business opportunities

Partner with the Sales team to achieve goals and substantially increase our foothold with Intelligence Community and Department of War customers and prospects

Provide guidance on technical challenges ranging from high-level architecture to code implementation

Support sales enablement of partners and channel alliances

Travel for customer meetings and conferences



We’re looking for candidates who have:

A TS/SCI security clearance (Top Secret with Specialized Compartmented Information eligibility)

Strong capability in programming languages (primarily Python & SQL); full stack development experience highly desired

A background in engineering, intelligence, or law enforcement, with strong technical and analytical acumen

A thirst for creative solutions and willingness to see them through to completion

Solid interpersonal skills

Geographic proximity to the D.C. metropolitan area

A valid U.S. Driver's License

Willingness to travel OCONUS



Nice to have experience:

A TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance (Top Secret with Specialized Compartmented Information eligibility and Full Scope Polygraph)

Existing understanding of cryptocurrency (e.g. mining, trading, tracing, smart contracts, DeFi, etc.)

A foundational understanding of open-source intelligence

Specialized finance-related certifications:

CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist); CCAS (Certified Cryptoasset Anti-Financial Crime Specialist); CGSS (Certified Sanctions Specialist); CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner); Chainalysis Training Certifications

Background with relevant intelligence oversight policies, procedures, and requirements

Experience working with Law Enforcement

Experience briefing senior government and/or corporate leadership
