The Judge Group is currently seeking a Software Architect (JavaScript) to support a defense customer at the Mark Center. This position is fully onsite and is funded for 10 months. For immediate consideration email your resume to rkissinger@judge.com.

Requirements:
Active top secret clearance or higher
Eight plus years of JavaScript development experience
This opportunity will initially be for a 10-month duration.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Architect end-to-end JavaScript-based Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions supporting multiple users.
• Design scalable architectures that integrate with existing government business systems.
• Develop architectural roadmaps aligning technology investments with the Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) phases.
• Guide cross-functional teams through solution design, development, and deployment actions.
• Establish coding standards and best practices for JavaScript development.
• Drive adoption of modern development methodologies including DevSecOps and Agile frameworks.
• Create technical roadmaps that balance immediate operational needs with long-term modernization goals.
• Evaluate and select JavaScript frameworks based on security requirements and internal standards.
• Support acquisition milestone decisions with comprehensive system architecture and risk assessments.
• Design and implement API getaway architectures to integrate siloed and disparate systems for seamless interoperability.
• Evaluate commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions against custom development options.
• Design and implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that identify issues before they reach production.
• Translate business capability requirements into implementable technical specifications.
• Design event-driven architectures using message brokers for real-time data synchronization, leveraging appropriate architectural patterns.
• Model workforce data relationships in JavaScript for organizational structures and associated business rules.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands on-experience with JavaScript frameworks,
• 8+ years of experience of building custom HR systems.
• Deep understanding of DoDI 5000.75 and Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, or DoDAF).
