Responsibilities:
- Installation & Configuration: Master installation instructions to set up and update network configurations and systems software supporting MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft operations.
- Audit & Verification: Ensure network and systems configurations align with the latest revisions and cyber/Information Assurance policies.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues and implement fault resolution activities for TS/SCI and collateral networks.
- Design & Documentation: Recommend and document network architecture, concept designs, change implementation plans, and risk assessments.
- Industry Collaboration: Work closely with industry partners and government entities to ensure robust network connectivity.
- Analysis & Recommendations: Review and analyze existing network architectures, providing design recommendations for WAN/LAN technologies.
- Guidance & Support: Offer network implementation guidance, such as intent-based networking and network segmentation protocols.
- After-Hours Support: Provide emergency systems support to ensure continuous operations, even outside regular hours.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (OR) Associate degree with four years of specialized experience (OR) Major certification with six years of specialized experience (OR) High school diploma with eight years of specialized experience
- Certification: Current US Department of Defense 8140/8570 baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent/higher) approved IAT II or higher. Must be obtainable within 90 days of start.
Desired:
- Experience: Navy Distributed SIGINT Operations (DSO).
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), certifications RHCSA/RHCE, Linux+ or LPIC are a plus.
- Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching (ACI & Catalyst), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of VMware ESXi and vSphere.
- Strong knowledge of Routing Protocol Configurations, OSI 7 Layer Model, IPv4 and IPv6, DNS, DHCP.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting classified systems and networks.
- Experience in network engineering, O&M support, requirements analysis, product integration, network baselining and progress tracking.
- Ability to schedule and plan day-to-day activities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently.
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Programming skills in Python and Java.
- Knowledge of NetApp/ONTAP Solutions.
