The SM-3 IB team is seeking to hire an Execution Sr. Program Manager for the new FY24/25 Production contract. This program manager will assist in the overall success of the SM-3 IB production team.
This role will also require an individual to maintain and continue to strengthen our relationships with our MDA customers. The Sr. Program Manager will serve as a key driver in leading successful execution, setting the direction, leadership, and AOP commitments for the organization. You will also have the responsibility to indirectly manage functional teams

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do:
- Work closely with the SM-3 IB FY24/25 Program Manager and Production Leadership Team.
- Apply disciplined risk & opportunity management practices to achieve balance of cost, quality, and schedule performance
- Help coordinate and align interactions, dependencies, and transactions between the sustainment and production programs.
- Coordinates with supporting functional organizations such as Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Supply Chain, Operations, Security, Requirements and Capabilities, and others.
- Advise and manage as necessary to ensure successful program execution and prioritize resources where necessary.
- Understands and represents customer needs to leadership.
- Support and/or lead regular program execution reviews.
- Ability to travel as needed

- SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years' experience
- Prior Program/Project Management Experience
- Prior experience working government programs
- Prior experience working with the customer (internal & external)
- Prior experience with the USN, NAVSEA, or MDA customer community
- Prior DoD program experience
