Raytheon is seeking a Senior Material Program Manager (MPM) for the Raytheon Advanced Products & Systems (APS), Advanced Fighter Systems (AFS) Program Area. This role requires advanced/applied knowledge of subcontract management, material requirements planning (MRP), project management, program startup and closeout processes. This role is viewed as an expert in multiple aspects of MRP and requires broad knowledge of financial, project and material management.
In this role, you will apply your existing knowledge of the Supply Chain and MRP in a matrixed organization.

The salary range for this role is 137,000 USD - 275,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. What You Will Do:
- Utilize principles, concepts, industry practices and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle and other next generation ERP systems)
- Work with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements
- Execute MRP Scheduling and Material Sales Forecasting
- Develop and execute Material Strategies that support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
- Generate Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP's / RFQ's)
- Manage financials related to budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.
- Own the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, EXIM, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communicating customer flow-through requirements such as FAR 12, FAR 15, DFAR, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
- Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment
- Balance supply and demand to create and maintain executable schedules
- Perform conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers
- Generate and manage Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities
- Domestic and International travel required
- Develop and execute material strategies and manage supplier performance.
- Sourcing decisions aligned to long-term production and franchise sustainment goals.
- Manage material budgets, sales forecasting, and supplier proposals.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Experience in supply chain activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or Transition to Production (T2P) programs.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience managing international suppliers and Export/Import (EX/IM) regulations.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Use of analytical tools to evaluate end-to-end planning and identify constraints, risks and opportunities
- Experience using Supply Chain Planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response)
- People management experience
