Insight Global is looking to hire three Senior Windows/Linux Systems Architect to support a large defense program. The candidates will sit 5 days a week onsite, but can choose to sit in the the Roy, Utah; Huntsville, Alabama; or Colorado Springs locations.
This individual will be joining a team of about 20 responsible for designing, engineering, and maintaining an enterprise wide Windows/Linux infrastructure environment used for classified communications.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Designing, Engineering, Administering, and maintaining Windows and Redhat (RHEL) 8 Server operating systems and domain services.
Design and manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and access control policies.
Create, deploy, and maintain system images across enterprise environments. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software in a networked setting.
Support virtualization infrastructure using VMware and manage SAN storage systems.
Implement and maintain security configurations in compliance with NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG.
Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system management. Participate in the Certification & Accreditation (C&A) process for information systems.
Minimum job requirements include:
- Active Secret Clearance (Top Secret Preferred) with ability to obtain SAP
- Security+ Certification
Master’s Degree with 10 years of Systems Engineering experience, Bachelor’s and 12 years, or Associate’s with 14 years of experience
Experience with Windows and Linux Engineering and Administration – primarily in virtual environment with VMWare
Ability to assist in design of system architecture for Windows and RHEL Servers
Ability to assist in the design of the Virtual infrastructure
Understanding of network infrastructure to assist network team as needed
Insight Global expects to pay 150K - 175K for these resources based on candidates level of experience, expertise, location and clearance level. Exact pay may vary based on these factors.
