The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to play a crucial role in enhancing our Active Network Defense (AND), Computer Network Defense (CND), and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) capabilities. You will be at the forefront of ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems, contributing to our mission of maintaining enterprise security tools and functions. Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities based on system requirements.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through the assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interact with government entities regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and resolve associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 20+ years of experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  
  • 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Exposure to Azure/AWS/VMs
• Knowledge of databases and data modeling
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience or be familiar with several of the below technologies:
  
  • Jira
  • CI/CD
  • DevOps
  • Docker/Kubernetes
  • Ansible/Salt/orchestration tools
  • Linux
  • Networking appliances and applications
  • Python/Django
  • Java
  • JavaScript
  • Angular/React
  • Elasticsearch/Spunk/SIEM
  • Monitoring tools

Desired:

• Additional experience and expertise in the listed technologies and methodologies.
• Self-starter with a motivated and proactive attitude.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$131,800 - $290,000
