Raytheon is seeking a successful candidate for a MRP Demand Planner role within the Advanced Product Center area in McKinney, Texas supporting shipping and stocking activities in the Material Validation and Pre-pack area. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.

What You Will Do
  • Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Create paperwork to support contractual and non-contractual shipments to external customers, vendors, and between Raytheon facilities.
  • Complete work orders for the production of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Maintain production schedules in MRP as necessary to align with factory projections and customer needs.
  • Report on and troubleshoot MRP system generated exceptions; and take corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory cycles count and reconcile the system.
  • Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
  • Perform movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other areas) as needed.
  • This role will work closely with the factory, supply chain and operations teams, to ensure effective program execution. In this role the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing facility, manufacturing scheduling, planning, inventory cycle and production control.
  • 2 years minimum experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 software (Excel, Word, Power Point)


Qualifications We Prefer
  • 2 or more years of special program access experience
  • Experience with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse
  • Material planning and order execution experience.
  • Experience with government contracting requirements

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
