Required Skills & Experience
• Active secret clearance

Insight Global is looking for a Network Admin to join one of our clients at Pacific Beach, WA. The Network Administrator is responsible for administration, maintenance, and cybersecurity defense of all client and server infrastructure used to support enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications and services. This position will also support operations as EW Operator, Link-Inject-to-Live Operator and other watch positions as required. This is in support of daily operations as dictated by the flying activity of Aviation squadrons utilizing the Pacific Northwest Tactical Training Range (PNWTTR) for training. The candidate will work in close coordination with site leadership and other team members and departments to update, monitor and maintain servers and workstations used throughout the enterprise. Additional duties include performing Microsoft Windows server administration, manage GPOs, create/modify DHCP reservations, patching and configuring systems in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG). Individuals must be able to work independently and work within a team.
Essential Job Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of local area, wide area, and virtual private network.
• Plan, install, and reconfigure hardware and software elements of communication networks.
• Troubleshoot routers, firewalls, switches, and other network devices.
• Monitor and analyze network performance for both short- and long-term planning.
• Maintain technical documentation including network diagrams and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors on third-party maintenance and network solutions.
• Propose and implement network designs to optimize performance and cost-efficiency
Compensation: $38/hr to $44/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
