Responsibilities
- Accurately Process Payroll for over four hundred Detention Officers.
- Identify and correct timesheet issues before they become payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure deliverable reports are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain Detention Supervisor Administrative In Box.
- Maintain accurate payroll records of receipts.
- Accurately reconcile processed work by comparing weekly/monthly reports verifying entries.
- Answering the phone and responding to e-mails in a timely manner.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Maintain Office Inventory.
Qualifications
- US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
- The incumbent must have a minimum of one year payroll experience.
- 1-year Associated Degree in Accounting in lieu of experience.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record).
- Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance.
- Pass all pre-employment and random drug tests.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid state driver's license.
- The incumbent must be trustworthy.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse population of people, including people of different cultures, with different values and lifestyles, with a cross-cultural perspective.
- Maintain current/physical residence in the continental United States.
- Strong Verbal communication skills.
