Web Service Engineer
Position Description:
Installation and configuration:
Install and configure web server software (e.g., Apache, Nginx, IIS) and related
components.
Maintenance and Upgrades:
Regularly update and patch web servers to ensure they are secure and performing
optimally.
Monitoring and Performance Tuning:
Monitor server performance and troubleshot issues to ensure high availability and
reliability. Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by proactively
identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and potential issues.
Security Management:
Implement and maintain security measures to protect web servers from threats and
vulnerabilities.
Backup and Recovery:
Manage backup and recovery process to ensure data integrity and availability in case of
server failure.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and policies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with development and IT teams to support web application deployments and
ensure smooth operation.
User Support:
Provide support to users and developers for web-server related issues and inquiries. Ticket
based support, manage and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner,
ensuring user satisfaction.
