The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for working with a team of Cyber Security Analysts and a Cyber Security Manager on all tasks related to Assessment & Authorization (A&A) to ensure assigned DoD systems/Enclaves/Networks can obtain and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) and Authorization to Connect (ATC) certifications. The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs. Additionally, the individual will serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and review and conduct technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established cyber security standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies to the team. The Senior Analyst will assist the operations team with cyber security compliance issues, guiding, researching, and teaching. Additionally, the individual will attend and lead meetings, develop cyber security reports, work collaboratively with the team to provide network stability and continuity, and build relationships with the government and other contractors.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops RMF accreditation artifact documentation to include Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) Strategy, Security Authorization Package, engineering documentation, network drawings, and related documentation as required by DoD accreditation standards
  • Develops, maintains, and monitors the necessary artifacts for A&A package submission to receive ATC, ATT, and ATO certifications.
  • Conducts FISMA assessments of cybersecurity control compliance in accordance with DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, CNSSI 1253 and the Cybersecurity Strategy
  • Perform SOC operations to include monitoring, reporting, and response to malicious activity Manage and prioritize multiple clients and projects
  • Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing task and responsibility status
  • Develops and reviews RMF artifacts (e.g. SSP, POA&M, MOU/MOA, topology, network architecture, PPSM, policies and procedures, HW/SW lists.) for RMF compliance
  • Supports Cybersecurity Test & Evaluation (CT&E) or Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) activities for system security engineering and program protection activities
  • Drafts authorizations for artifacts in accordance with customer requirements
  • Maintains expertise in cyber-associated technologies by learning new and evolving technologies and best practices.
  • Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 7-10 Years' Experience in Cybersecurity Program Management
  • Must have an active DoDI 8570.01 / IAM III Certification
  • Must have a TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be familiar with DoD, NIST, RMF and FedRAMP processes
  • Prior knowledge of network, physical, systems and application security practices
  • Previous hands-on experience working with ACAS, HBSS, and SIEMs tools
  • Must be familiar with intrusion detection and prevention measures and practices
  • Prior experience with IT governance, risk management, and compliance practices

Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience.
  • Background, training and experience with DoD Risk
  • Management Framework. Experience performing cybersecurity roles on US military networks
