ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is currently seeking a Digital Data Management Analyst (Metadata tagging) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. If you have EPA and SEMS database experience, we would like to talk with you today. - Bachelor's degree in information management/computer science, with seven (7) years of related experience in records management, data management, and metadata tagging OR a Master's degree in information management/computer science, with four (4) years of related experience as mentioned above.
- Experience with databases (database management) such as Documentum, Versatile, Advanced Revelation, Versatile, HP Trim or Micro Focus Content Manager, Zylmage (databases related to digital data management/records management) is required.
- Experience with Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with SQL queries and report development.
- Experience with Internet/Intranet and website management (HTML Editor) is a plus.
- Superfund Enterprise Management System (SEMS), EPA, and the Superfund Process (preferred)
- Permanent Residency or US Citizenship is required for the government background investigation (Public Trust clearance).
Responsibilities :
- Provide data management including analysis, data reporting, quality control, and technical assistance.
- Support data systems management activities including directly working with multiple clients and responding to requests for information and end-user application support and working with regional staff to update and plan out site schedules.
- Utilize the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) and federal programmatic applications and databases such as Superfund Enterprise Management System (SEMS).
- Field inquiries from a variety of clients; research and provide resolution or follow-up within specified timeframes.
- Provide direct troubleshooting and training support to clients in the use of EPA-specific databases in an efficient, time effective manner to accommodate client needs and requests.
- Analyze the development and publishing of training materials for EPA applications and databases, including frequently asked questions, quick reference guides, and training guides.
- Ensuring regional planning and accomplishments are complete, current, and consistent, and accurately reflected in databases.
- Recommending and providing trainings to regional staff on process improvements, data analysis, and data management.
- Assisting with tracking and reporting key performance metrics for the division on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Creating knowledge management documents to capture processes and workflows.
- Preparing information to support periodic program management and planning review meetings.
- Performing audits of regional data and makes recommendations to clients to correct findings.
- Providing ad-hoc reports upon request.
