We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit. In this role, you will support the design, engineering, integration, operation, and maintenance of advanced electronic security systems—including intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, video surveillance, perimeter defense, command and control, and IT infrastructure—across high-growth mission environments.

Responsibilities

Perform system builds across Windows Server/workstations, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and virtual platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Azure Local).

Install, configure, and optimize applications using IIS, SQL Server, and related components.

Configure network environments (Layer 2/3 switches, firewalls, load balancers) using Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.

Conduct SQL Server tuning and optimization.

Develop infrastructure deployment playbooks using Ansible and Terraform.

Create advanced PowerShell scripts to automate system and security functions.

Use cybersecurity assessment and authorization tools such as Evaluate STIG, eMASSter, Vulnerator, ACAS/TenableSC, STIG Viewer, SCC, eMASS, Xacta/Xacta 360.

Develop answer files for Evaluate STIG and implement DISA STIGs using GPOs, Ansible, PowerShell, and SQL.

Apply vendor hardening guides for applications, platforms, and IoT devices.

Perform system updates through WSUS, MECM, PowerShell, Yum, and manual patching.

Provide cybersecurity guidance to system administrators, ensuring STIG and best-practice compliance.

Support secure system architecture development, product selection, cyber compliance, and NIST 800-53 control implementation.

Maintain cyber compliance in production systems through scanning, patching, remediation, AD administration, and STIG updates.

Support secure cloud deployments (Azure, AWS), including Entra ID, Azure Local, Sentinel, and automated deployment tools.

Develop RMF documentation such as boundary diagrams, hardware/software lists, PPSM entries, POA&Ms, etc.

Write procedural documentation and control family plans for NIST frameworks.

Stay current with cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies.

Mentor junior cybersecurity personnel and serve as subject matter expert as needed.

Communicate technical security topics to customers and internal teams.

Produce reports documenting mission activities, findings, procedures, and technical security issues.

Qualifications

Clearance:

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or higher required.

U.S. Citizenship required.

Experience / Education:

High School Diploma + 12+ years of relevant experience, or

Associate’s Degree + 10+ years of relevant experience, or

Bachelor’s Degree + 7+ years of relevant experience, or

Master’s Degree + 5+ years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements:

Strong system administration background, including triage, troubleshooting, issue resolution, data analysis, and system deployments.

Vendor certifications for electronic security systems preferred.

Ability to work on-site during customer-required hours; reliable attendance is essential.

Flexible schedule with occasional night or weekend work as needed.
