The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for you to serve as the SCOPES Security Cooperation Logistics Lead and the Government's primary in-theater POC. The Security Cooperation Logistics Lead is a Key position on this Task Order (TO) that provides overall leadership and guidance for all contractor and sub-contractor deployed personnel assigned throughout the SOUTHCOM AOR including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance.

The Security Cooperation Logistics Lead is responsible for TO quality and efficiency throughout the AOR, including both technical issues and business processes. The Security Cooperation Logistics Lead shall have the authority to commit resources of the prime contractor's organization and make decisions for the contractor's organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitation

Responsibilities:
  • You will be located, work, and live in Bogota, Colombia, with frequent travel expected to Miami, FL and throughout the SOUTHCOM AOR. You may travel as required, to perform services at other locations within the USSOUTHCOM AOR to meet mission requirements. You will serve as CACI's secondary POC to GSA AAS and USSOUTHCOM for matters primarily security cooperation and logistics-related to Task Order execution. You will provide overall leadership and guidance for contractor personnel assigned to the Task Order at OCONUS locations including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing overall Task performance. You will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of all assigned tasks, including both technical issues and business processes.
  • You will provide USSOUTHCOM and its mission partners with expert security cooperation and logistical advice, planning, advisory assistance, operational knowledge, and technical expertise that enables the effective integration of support services, all to meet USSOUTHCOM's operational challenges, resulting in the delivery of material and non-material solutions for USSOUTHCOM and other mission partners. You will collaborate across USSOUTHCOM, the DoD, mission partners, and local nationals to promote collaboration and integration across the USSOUTHCOM enterprise to drive efficiencies and ensure USSOUTHCOM achieves its priorities and objectives in countering emerging threats, strengthening partner nation capabilities and facilitating crisis response and contingency operations.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • Possess a Spanish language capability of 2+ on the DLPT or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education
  • Five (5) or more years' experience managing operations, maintenance, and logistics for the U.S. military.
  • Experience managing projects and/or programs with multiple OCONUS performance locations.
  • Experience with Logistics and Administrative functions such as vehicle maintenance, property accountability, fuel programs, transportation support, contracting/invoicing, logistics support to military operations, Customs, local purchasing, and cargo handling.
  • You must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in both English and Spanish.
  • Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • A current Tourist Passport with an expiration date more than 6 months away

  • A fundamental understanding of Program Management Office operations and management.
