Cyber Security Specialist (CI Poly)

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Specialist:

• Install and configure network environments consisting of Cisco and/or Juniper Layer 2/ Layer 3 switches, Palo Alto Cisco firewalls, load balancers, etc.
• Perform system builds for a variety of system environments including Windows Server and workstation and Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) as well as virtual environments including VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and Azure Local
• Install and configure applications that utilize IIS and SQL Server
• Develop complex PowerShell scripts for automation of system functions
• Develop playbooks for deployment of infrastructure using Ansible and/or Terraform
• Evaluate STIG, eMASSter, Vulnerator, ACAS / TenableSC, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker, eMASS, Xacta / Xacta 360.

Required Qualifications for the Cyber Security Specialist:

• Associates with 10+ years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years experience or Master's Degree with 5+ years experience
• System administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions
• Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer
• Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility and CI Poly

Compensation for the Cyber Security Specialist:

• Salary range: $140,000 - $200,000 *depending on experience*
