Position Overview
Mc3 Partners is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD automation, Linux administration, and scripting in Python/Bash. You will design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable solutions for government clients.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda).
Support on-premise and edge infrastructure for portable systems.
Automate deployments and ensure system reliability and scalability.
Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud environments.
Collaborate with development teams for seamless integration.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems.
Implement best practices for security and performance.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (U.S. citizenship required).
9+ years of DevOps or Software Development experience with Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combinations).
Strong knowledge of AWS services and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Linux administration, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
Programming skills in Python, Bash (Go is a plus).
Familiarity with Git, Flux, and Agile methodologies.
Certifications:
DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance (e.g., Security+).
Computing Environment certification (AWS, Linux, Kubernetes).
Preferred Skills
Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, ElasticSearch, etc.).
Familiarity with Diode, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform.
📌 Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite at Ft. Belvoir, VA (Monday–Friday).
