The Opportunity:
CACI has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team as a System Administrator in the Fort Meade, MD area! In this role, you will get the opportunity to provide support and maintain government IT systems supporting national defense operations.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain health and status of virtual systems including security updates and changes; security-related updates, diagnosing system-level problems, and addressing security requirements.
• Support systems Risk Management Framework process.
• Provide updates to security controls and understand/address findings from external reports and security control audits; interface with ISSOs, ISSEs, ISSMs, and other external representatives as needed to achieve security goals an accreditation.
• Provide an understanding of the required security requirements and provide design and application features and system implementation to achieve security requirements.
• Provide advice and consultation on security impacts to project management and application developers.
• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible software, bash and python software as needed to automatically build and configure virtual servers as needed for production and deployment.
• Perform future transitions as needed.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
Qualifications:
Required:
MUST have TS/SCI w current Poly
• Must have experience with RedHat System Administration.
• Fifteen (15) or more years' experience as a System Administrator.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with DOD/IC technical systems is preferred.
