Job Overview
USCG Sustainment Enterprise Operations is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support our Installation Manager with day-to-day operations. The support will generally be in the Chesapeake operational area but may require support to other locations in the continental US. The candidate will provide project management support for multiple large scale Shipboard and Shore-based USCG projects. This position will work out of the Chesapeake, VA office. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Develop and deliver monthly reports and other CDRL requirements (meet contractual regulatory requirements)
- Create, review, and modify various Power Point presentations/slide decks for project planning and kick off meetings.
- Be familiar with Microsoft TEAMS environment, Microsoft project to maintain work flow for multiple projects and creating project plans.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently and with subsidiary presidents, general managers, operation managers, various PMs, and project personnel.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a "can do" attitude capable of overcoming difficult challenges in a high-paced atmosphere.
- Self-motivated.
- Perform other duties as tasked.

- Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills especially Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree Business Management or similarly related majors.
- 4-6 years of proven experience in supporting similar duties.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Must be able to obtain SECRET Security Clearance minimum.
- Travel may be required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
Working Conditions:
- This position is primarily performed in an office setting using standard office equipment (desk, computer, phone, printer, copier, etc.).
- Work may require occasional weekend work, evening work and CONUS travel.
Physical Requirements:
- Work requires the ability to operate a computer and work in a standard office environment, effectively communicate information in verbal and written form, read and review information and charts, perform analytical thinking skills, use sound judgement. Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
