ASRC Federal Professional Services is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support an upcoming Department of Justice effort supporting the program management, engineering services, technical support, general technical and programmatic analysis and strategic development support, stakeholder engagement, website content support, testing and analysis, marketing, and logistical/planning services for efforts to support Lawful Access relevant to the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) .
Location: Onsite (customer location Huntsville, AL)

Responsibilities:
- Create custom tools necessary to evaluate mobile apps and IoT devices.
- Evaluate the feasibility of intercepting communication services; evaluation of smart phones applications / IoT devices to familiarize le with specifics regarding their interaction with Communication Service Provider (CSP) networks and infotainment systems.
- Assist state and local Law Enforcement (LE) with the establishment of supported technical services.
- Familiarization with the functionalities and evidentiary results produced by commercial or proprietary LE digital forensics systems.
- Assess Industry forms and/or portals.
- Document evaluation results and create documents such as whitepapers, power points, and articles that illustrate the findings from the evaluations.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an applicable field or the equivalent.
- Minimum of eight (8) years technical experience as an applications programmer of developer.
- F ive (5) years' experience developing in C# and possess a strong knowledge of ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, JQuery , Java Script and JSON.
- E xperience developing mobile applications for either iOS or Android operating systems.
- US Citizenship with an active Top Secret w Lifestyle Poly.
- Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
