· Position: Hardware Design Engineer
· Format: Hired directly as full-time employee
· Location: Huntsville, AL
· Salary: $145,000 - 195,000
· Clearance: Secret with willingness/ability to upgrade to Top Secret
· Interview Process: 1-Round; Virtual

· Job Overview:
As an Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
• Create and manage schematics and PCB layouts utilizing Altium Designer.
• Design, evaluate, and troubleshoot digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Conduct hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies.
• Assist in prototype development, document testing procedures, and participate in design review sessions.
• Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure smooth system integration.
• Engage in product testing, verification, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
• A valid DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Solid understanding of digital logic, signal integrity, and fundamental circuit concepts.
• Familiarity with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, etc.).
• Strong skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
• VHDL programming for FPGA designs
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in embedded firmware development.
• Knowledge of VHDL and Xilinx FPGA design tools.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and the integration of hardware and software.
