The Opportunity:
As a CACI GCCS-J COP Manager, you will assume a critical leadership role in supporting the United States European Command (USEUCOM) Joint Operations Center (JOC). Your primary responsibilities will encompass the expert management of the Common Operational Picture (COP) and the Global Command & Control System - Joint (GCCS-J). This role requires meticulous adherence to EUCOM JOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and compliance with higher directives. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of command and control systems, demanding a high level of expertise, exceptional coordination skills, and acute situational awareness. Your efforts will be vital in maintaining effective Command & Control operations, thereby contributing to the overall mission success and operational excellence within USEUCOM.
Responsibilities:
The GCCS-J COP Manager supports the 24/7/365 EUCOM JOC operations on an extended shift work schedule, generally not to exceed 40 hours per week. You Provide situational awareness for Command & Control decision-making by coordinating and fusing live track data and other information from various DoD sensors, databases, military services and commands, and civilian agencies.
Daily coordination with external equities to include but not limited to USEUCOM HQ Component Commands, the National Military Command Center, Mission Management Center, and US STRATCOM HQ.
Daily coordination with internal equities to include but not limited to EUCOM Chief of Operations, Operations Officer, JOC Chief, Information Management/Knowledge Management personnel, and J2 personnel.
Periodically contribute information to EUCOM Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs) and to EUCOM briefing materials up to the General Officer / Flag Officer level.
Collaborate with JOC Chief to prioritize display of potential and emerging threats ensuring relevancy to the EUCOM AOR enabling situational awareness and support key decision makers.
Subject matter expert for managing the COP and GCCS-J System in the EUCOM JOC to include troubleshooting technical and operational issues. Provides support for incoming Data Link transmissions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TOP SECRET/SCI Clearance
• Ability to obtain a TESA visa in Germany - BA/BS + 5 years, AA/AS + 7 years, major cert + 9 years, OR 11 years of specialized Operations experience.
• Be part of the Emergency Relocation Group (ERG) and maintain Continuity of Operations (COOP) in a time of need. This includes movement to alternate locations to perform duties as required.
• Extensive experience with joint environment to include GCCS-J, Joint C2 systems, Agile Client, COP management.
• Strong communication skills; able to brief senior leaders and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Joint Operational Planning and staff processes.
Desired:
• Prior experience working in Europe, at EUCOM, or one of its Service Components in the JOC
