Job Description
SALARY RANGE $109,000 - $166,000/year.
DUTIES As a successful candidate for the Database Administrator II role, you will provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems, managing IT system infrastructure and related processes. You will support IT systems through day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client, server, storage, network devices, and mobile platforms. You will perform Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution, ensuring timely communication and escalation of issues to agency management and internal customers. You will assist in dispatching and resolving hardware-related problems while remaining engaged throughout the resolution process. Additionally, you will configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot and maintain system integrity, and configure network components. You will also implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance across supported environments.

QUALIFICATIONS Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator (SA) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Experience may include managing and performing integration, operations, and maintenance activities for enterprise IT systems and projects across multiple system domains with varying security classification levels and a diverse user base concurrently. Candidates must have demonstrated experience with SQL Server as a core requirement for this position.
CERTIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES A CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
