ServiceNow SME / Senior ServiceNow Developer
Program Description:
We are looking for a SME level ServiceNow Developer to join our visible technical program driving the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that supports collection, management and analysis of digital engineering information in an architecture that provides seamless digital thread and enables tool interoperability, including data structures suitable for AI applications.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Set Up Workflows: Build and configure automated workflows tailored to meet specific business or government requirements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in execution.
Design Workflows: Collaborate with stakeholders to map out and design new workflows from scratch, translating operational needs into functional automation within the system.
Create Forms: Develop user-friendly digital forms to capture data, support workflows, and streamline data entry processes—often serving as a key interface between users and backend systems.
Write Custom Code in Flow Designer: Leverage Flow Designer to write custom server-side and client-side scripts, enhancing out-of-the-box capabilities and enabling tailored automation.
Develop APIs: Build and integrate RESTful APIs that connect ServiceNow to a broader ecosystem of customer applications, supporting seamless data exchange and full lifecycle management.
Troubleshoot / Fulfill Requests (aka “Do the GOV’s Bidding”): Respond to dynamic, often last-minute needs from government stakeholders. These can range from quick-fix issues to full solution builds based on feedback like “We need this done… yesterday.”
Work in AWS Cloud Environment: Operate within an AWS-hosted infrastructure, using cloud-native tools and best practices to deploy, maintain, and optimize solutions that are scalable, secure, and compliant.
