Position Overview
ASRC Federal is seeking an accomplished Director of Business Development to lead growth initiatives supporting DoD . The position focuses on expanding ASRC Federal's presence in Defense and Intelligence including c yber, Z ero Trust, S/W Development, AI, e ngineering services , i ntelligence support , da ta an alytics, etc .
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and shaping pursuits across DoD .
Position Description
The Director of Business Development will lead opportunity identification, qualification and lead all elements of the business development life cycle .
Key responsibilities include:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in business development, capture, or operations in the federal/DoD market.
Demonstrated success developing and winning opportunities within DoD .
Proven ability to identify , qualify, and lead multiple pursuits simultaneously across diverse technical domains.
Experience establishing and building customer relationships that result in shaping multi-billion-dollar pipelines and winning multimillion dollar contracts.
Experience leading complex captures through the full business development lifecycle.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations , and as needed to ASRC Federal offices.
Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance required .
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in capture leadership and proposal development in defense professional services markets
Prior experience working with DoD in Cyber, acquisition, intelligence .

- Develop and manage a multi-year pipeline aligned with ASRC Federal's Defense and Intelligence business .
- Shape and influence opportunities early in the acquisition lifecycle through direct customer engagement, competitive intelligence, and solution development.
- Identify and lead pursuit strategies including shaping, teaming, and proposal phases.
- Build and sustain relationships with key DoD customers .
- Lead customer and industry engagement plans to position ASRC Federal as a preferred solutions partner.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with capture, proposal, pricing, and technical solution teams.
- Contribute to long-term growth strategies, annual operating plans, and investment prioritization within the Defense & Intelligence portfolio.
Required Qualifications
