Dorrean is looking for a Program Manager to support a federal agency in a contract role. Specific tasks and duties for the Program Manager include:

• Recruiting, hiring, training, and professional development of technical staff.

• Providing effective direction and supervision of all contractor employees.

• Establishing task priorities, allocating resources, and monitoring progress towards objectives.

• Monitoring contract delivery and keeping the COR and designated Government officials informed of project status and problem resolution.

• Ensuring that deliverables are supplied to the Government.

• Ensuring that all personnel comply with the security requirements outlined in this contract.

• Ensuring the technical correctness, timeliness and quality of all services performed and items delivered.

• Supervising employees’ performance of services under this contract.

• Acting as the central point of contact with the government.


Specific deliverables include:

• Regular updates on deliverables status, team activities, and special projects.

• Updates to and reports from government-operated ticketing, management, and tracking applications for incoming requests from government stakeholders, staff, and leadership.

• Quarterly summaries of reports research and analysis activities.


Requirements for the Program Manager include:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and advanced technical degree in a field closely related to a core area of interest

• 10+ years of work experience in a field such as information technology and cybersecurity operations, telecommunications network development and deployment, data science and analysis, corporate finance and operations, consulting, law enforcement, and/or national security policy development.

• Widely recognized certifications such as CISSP may substitute for 2-5 years of work experience, depending on their level and relevance.

• Experience working with non-technical customers, including demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics in non-technical language through written and oral communications

• Ability to conduct independent research and analysis in areas of science, engineering, and technology related-to but separate-from their qualifying core area of interest to inform mission and policy work.

• Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and execute strategic projects, including unstructured, open ended research and analysis on a variety of policy and science, engineering, and technology topics based on research plans, problem definitions, and focus areas defined by the government.
