Raytheon has an excellent opportunity within the Supply Chain Proposal Team for a Strategic Proposal Lead within the LADS (Land & Air Defense Systems) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This growth opportunity will provide an ambitious individual with the ability to interface and partner with Program Office, Supply Chain and Estimating Leadership during pursuits of new and follow-on business.

In this dynamic and fast paced environment, this candidate will be managing proposals including onboarding into the LADs Proposal Team, shaping proposal strategy, and aligning key functions throughout the lifecycle of transition to the execution team while ensuring all quoting activities are complaint to RTX and USG standards.

What You Will Do:

Analyze large amounts of data, supporting the LADs Strategic Business Unit to determine quoting strategy for Prime Proposal(s) submittal to customers

- Managing proposal kickoffs and strategy support proposal efforts

- Requires communication at all levels of leadership; specifically the ability to ensure multiple programs can reach consensus on a RFP strategy and that it supports proposal compliance

- Review and approve Basis of Estimates (BOE's) for discrete labor

- Conduct compliant competitions between identified suppliers.

- Report out to internal customers on issues, concerns, status of completion

- Supporting data analytics and strategy throughout the proposal and customer negotiation process

- Post proposal management activities (RFI's, SWEEPs, Post Submittal Actions, etc.)

Qualifications you Must Have:

Typically Requires 8 years related work experience in Supply Chain, Finance or Manufacturing.

Experience working in the Department of Defense (DoD) Aerospace & Defense industry

Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 15 requirements

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience at the intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office especially Excel

Experience with general Supply Chain processes

Experience with strong documentation and timeline management

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience in project management

Experience with filtering through, and analyzing large amounts of data and communicating the strategy based on the data with leadership

Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent

Active or ability to receive a Secret DoD security clearance

Experience with project management

Experience in functional estimating, program business and/or functional business roles is highly desired

Experience working as Subcontract Manager, Financial Analyst, Proposal MPM or Estimating Analyst

Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
