Responsibilities
The Critical Facilities Engineering Manager supervises the facility maintenance team members, coordinates work schedules, ensures timely completion of tasks, and maintains communications with the Supported Customer and the Program Manager. Responsible for all administrative, technical and operational aspects of the program, including tracking and managing the submittals of contract deliverables related to scope/schedule/budget. Creates and up-dates project cost estimates/budgets, spreadsheets, and trackers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible 24/7 for the safe operations of the data center electrical, mechanical and emergency power and facility systems that are contractually required. Responsible for the overall administration, organization, and implementation of the project
- Responsible for the operation of a critical data center infrastructure environment; to include electrical, mechanical and emergency power systems
- Understand and can operate building automation systems to include trending, reporting and using as a troubleshooting tool
- Direct oversight of all Facilities Team Members; provides daily taskings and monitors performance
- Serves as the primary point of contact with the Supported Customer for all Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and for afterhours emergency support
- Manages recurring/preventive maintenance work program and provides technical assistance as needed
- Routinely leads mechanical and electrical system maintenance and repairs
- Responsible for conducting/overseeing, preparing and submitting O&M and project site surveys with accurate Scopes of Work and associated initial cost estimates for materials and labor using quotes, RS Means or equivalent.
- Responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing all phases of facility, electrical, and mechanical repairs or infrastructure project work from project initiation to project closeout
- Accountable for managing the budget, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation
- Manages priorities and work plans, and monitors work status
- Manages and ensures a continuous workflow
- Monitors tasks to ensure they meet contractual requirements
- Monitors and reports performance against the performance work statement to ensure contractual; cost; and schedule objectives are met
- Operates computer and communications equipment to support work force management activities
- Manages preparation and maintenance of O&M records and reports
- Performs quantitative study of management data to assess cost and reimbursement, work performance, progress, trends, standards, and policies
- Performs quality control checks for Preventative and Corrective Maintenance and Time and Material tasks
Qualifications
- Applicants selected must have a high school diploma with 12+ years of experience and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Management experience in US Government contract O&M Services
- Applicants must have consecutive years of supervisory experience over one or more of the following trades:
- Electrician
- HVAC
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, to include U.S. Citizenship; Applicant selected must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
