Duties
Training and Development: Responsible for monitoring the NAF employee training program in accordance with Air Force standards as related to employee position requirements and Air Force policy requirements. Works with section supervisors to determine training needs. Coordinates, conducts or facilitates training sessions for NAF employees to ensure training standards are met. Tracks courses are required to maintain or comply with governing Air Force Policy and AFSVC training requirements for each facility. Ensures completion of training required for each facility and coordinates with appropriate training authorities to obtain training dates, materials, and instruction plans. Assesses the effectiveness of training standards within the program. Observes and reviews processes and performance in the workplace and adjusts training programs to address any performance shortcomings noted. Logs and tracks training requirements and training data for NAF workforce.
R&P: Utilizes automated recruitment tool. Builds and edits user accounts. Generates vacancies for job announcements. Enters applicable position and organizational data for vacancy. Creates job opportunity announcements. Verifies applicant eligibilities in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures. Produces applicant lists for selecting official.
Position Management: Verifies signatures on position descriptions and the most up-to-date Standardized Position Descriptions and Position Guides are being used. Locates position descriptions in the library.
Clerical/Admin: Provides customer service assistance to customers. Makes copies, scans documents, uploads and files documents. Distributes copies of personnel actions. Provides general information regarding position vacancies, application procedures, etc. Operates a computer remote terminal and word processing equipment. Receives and checks documents for completion and accuracy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Contacts appropriate sources to secure missing data or documents. Elevates complex system issues to senior HR staff.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience performing clerical work and providing customer service to internal and external customers; applying rules, regulations, and procedures in accomplishment of clerical/administrative work; utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel). Experience in the operational management of Morale and Welfare (MWR) programs. This experience must have included supervisory responsibility, (i.e., team leader level or higher of at least one functional area in MWR) sufficient to demonstrate skill and knowledge in such areas as team building, customer service, staff scheduling, financial management, and human resources. Ability to train or have experience which shows potential to train others. Ability to read, speak, and write English.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
