We are seeking a Tool Design Checker to review and validate engineering designs for manufacturing tools and equipment. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications. This position is 100% onsite in Mesa, AZ and requires a current U.S. Secret Security Clearance .

- Review CAD models, technical drawings, and schematics for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure designs adhere to industry standards (ISO, NAAMS, ASME Y14.5), company specifications, and manufacturing best practices.
- Confirm dimensional accuracy, including GD&T, angles, radii, and other critical measurements.
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Identify and document errors, omissions, or inconsistencies in design documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design issues and ensure manufacturability.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years with a Bachelor's, 3+ years with a Master's, or relevant experience with a PhD.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, or Creo).
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with quality control processes, tools, and documentation.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to tool design and manufacturing.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

- Experience working in a cross-functional engineering environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to interface with multiple engineering disciplines.
