RiverTech LLC. will provide IT support for the Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) Working Dog Management System (WDMS), in the cloud, and will maintain and sustain both WDMS main system and WDMS software sustainment lab.
The Working Dog Management System (WDMS) is a comprehensive platform used by the
Department of Defense to manage the lifecycle of military working dogs, ensuring their training, health, and operational readiness.
This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from JBSA Lackland, Texas.

The Working Dog Management System (WDMS) is a comprehensive platform used by the
Department of Defense to manage the lifecycle of military working dogs, ensuring their training, health, and operational readiness.
This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from JBSA Lackland, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Systematically manages, organizes, and controls the changes in WDMS documents, code, and other entities during the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC).
- Configuration Manager duties include:
- Comply with Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) Configuration Management policy and SEP for maintaining and tracking application software version control.
- Document all software change requests to provide a clear audit trail of all required software modifications because of sustainment efforts.
- Manage and implement an approved Configuration Management Plan
- Schedule software releases to support the AF/A4S WDMS Program Management Office (PMO), WDMS POCs, and AFSFC PMO at intervals determined during the development of a requirements timeline, whereas not to hinder current development state and required releases to field users.
- Provide updates to all supporting documentation (to include design documents, sequence diagrams, and relevant files) in accordance with SEP.
- Provide a full baseline to the Government corresponding to at least each WDMS release.
Qualifications
- 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) for Operating Systems and Applications.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Familiarity of GitLab and BASH.
- Familiarity of Azure & Azure DevOPS.
- Detail-oriented and possesses the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to provide incident and after-action reports and analysis.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust (current Public Trust strongly preferred).
