The Account Executive is a Tallahassee-based position, serving as the primary day-to-day liaison between clients and agency teams. The Account Executive plays a central role in managing communications, tracking progress, and facilitating seamless collaboration between internal agency resources and client stakeholders. This is a hybrid role required to work onsite in Tallahassee, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for daily communication between clients and agency teams.
- Support the development of marketing and advertising strategies by capturing client needs, providing insights and coordinating recommendations from the broader Account Management Team.
- Actively participate in on-site meetings with clients and vendors.
- Assist in the execution of campaigns by coordinating with creative, media and production staff.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, escalating issues or risks to senior account leaders as needed.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and administrative documentation for clients and internal leadership.
- Monitor campaign performance and assist with analyzing outcomes to support future recommendations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and marketing best practices to provide value-added insights.
- Support planning sessions, focus groups and client meetings as required.
- Regular travel to Tampa and other areas of Florida required.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related field required.
- 7-10 years of industry experience, including at least 3-5 years of experience in account management or client service within an advertising, marketing or communications agency.
- Experience supporting large, multi-channel campaigns with public sector or consumer clients preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to foster collaborative client relationships.
- Familiarity with budget tracking, reporting and project documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across creative, media and production teams.
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a proactive, client-first mindset.
