What You'll Accomplish:
-Design and implement enterprise-grade integration solutions that connect disparate systems and unlock data silos
-Lead the technical architecture for a platform that will process millions of transactions and serve as the backbone of critical business operations
-Collaborate directly with business leaders and technical teams to translate complex requirements into elegant solutions
-Champion best practices in API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development
-Mentor team members and evangelize integration excellence across the organization
Primary Skills Required:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
-Production-level coding experience in at least one compiled language (Java, C++, Go, etc.) and one dynamic language (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.)
-Advanced expertise in one or more areas:
-Networking and TCP/IP protocols
-Linux systems administration
-Systems programming and distributed systems
-Database architecture and optimization
-Cloud computing platforms
-Infrastructure automation skills with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.)
-Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
-Container orchestration expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies
-Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification (Preferred)
Other Skills Required
-Proven track record architecting and supporting enterprise-grade infrastructure (high availability, scalability, security)
-Demonstrated experience with performance testing, tuning, and optimization across multiple projects
-Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving mindset
-Deep working knowledge of Internet protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, VPN, load balancing
-Experience with diverse database technologies:
-RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server)
-NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
-Distributed key-value stores (etcd, Redis)
-Time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB)
-Outstanding communication skills with experience managing client expectations and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
-Active government security clearance required
