The Identity Management Service Delivery Lead (SDL) role is a P5 level pivotal position within Raytheon's Digital Technology (DT) Technology Services team, responsible for overseeing the delivery and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) services across the Raytheon business. This role focuses on ensuring secure, reliable, and user-friendly identity solutions that align with enterprise standards and meet the evolving needs of the business. The Identity Management SDL works closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to prioritize user experience, maintain a strong compliance posture, and enable seamless access to enterprise systems and resources. This role also partners closely with the Enterprise Services Identity and Access Management team to ensure business needs are understood and incorporated into Enterprise Identity Services.

What You Will Do:
  • User Experience Advocacy: Ensure that Identity and Access Management (IAM) services are intuitive, user-centric, and frictionless while meeting security and compliance requirements for the Raytheon Business.
  • Compliance and Security: Be a strong advocate to maintain a strong compliance posture by ensuring IAM services adhere to RTX's security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, CMMC, GDPR).
  • Service Delivery Coordination: Partner with other business units, Enterprise Services, and security teams to prioritize and execute IAM service delivery initiatives effectively.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor IAM service performance for the Raytheon business against defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), identifying and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Service Health Monitoring: Conduct regular reviews of IAM service health, user satisfaction, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to recommend and implement enhancements for the Raytheon business.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business teams, site-level teams, and enterprise delivery teams to align IAM services with business and operational objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Leverage automation, advanced tooling, and process improvements to make recommendations on ways to enhance the efficiency and scalability of IAM services.
  • Agile Practices: Champion Agile-aligned principles in the delivery of IAM services, ensuring responsiveness to evolving user and business requirements.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as an escalation point for IAM service delivery challenges, ensuring the prompt resolution of issues impacting end-user access or security.


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience.(In lieu of degree, will consider those with a minimun of 14 years of relevant experience).
  • Experience in IT service delivery, particularly in Identity and Access Management or security-related domains.
  • Team leadership or management experience on complex technical projects/programs.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Strong understanding of identity management concepts, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Redhat LDAP), and federated identity solutions.
  • Experience supporting IAM services in a complex, matrixed organization, including cloud-based identity solutions (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint).
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery practices or product operating models.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CORE Apprentice/Champion, CISSP, CISM, or similar security certifications.
  • Ability to translate business or user requirements into IAM service features and delivery plans.
  • Experience with automation and process improvement initiatives in identity management.
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers or internal shared services teams to deliver IAM solutions.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of IAM service delivery metrics, SLAs, and enterprise performance reports.

Remote : This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location (or other US Domestic Raytheon locations) as needed for the business. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states ( excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
