You'll work across virtual, cloud, and physical environments-ensuring 99.99% system uptime and supporting SLA compliance for high-priority infrastructure and applications.

Workflow Management
- Design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines to process mission-critical data efficiently.
- Optimize existing workflows to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance.
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve overall system performance.
Monitoring & Incident Response
- Proactively monitor pipeline health, system performance, and SLA compliance.
- Troubleshoot failures, data inconsistencies, and pipeline bottlenecks.
- Respond to incidents impacting pipeline operations across CONUS and OCONUS missions.
Technical Support & Administration
- Provide Tier 2+ support for pipeline frameworks, ETL tools, and cloud-based platforms.
- Manage virtualized and physical environments supporting mission pipelines.
- Document SOPs, operational procedures, and pipeline architecture for leadership and mission partners.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work with vendors and internal teams to coordinate maintenance and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve pipeline processes.
- Contribute to the refinement of operational standards and reporting.

We're looking for someone who:
- Investigates and resolves complex pipeline and workflow issues effectively.
- Excels in medium to high complexity environments with precision and attention to detail.
- Communicates clearly and collaborates across teams.
- Embraces innovation and seeks opportunities to optimize service delivery.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field - or equivalent combination of education and 3+ years of hands-on experience in pipeline operations, workflow automation, or system administration.
Certifications:
- Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
- Working knowledge of ITIL V4 framework (certification or intent to certify required).
Technical Experience:
- Experience with data pipeline frameworks (Apache Airflow, NiFi, Luigi, or equivalent).
- Admin experience with Windows and Linux OS; familiarity with virtualized and cloud environments.
- Experience with scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Familiarity with monitoring and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Splunk, BMC TrueSight, Nagios, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across virtual, physical, and cloud systems.

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $122k-132k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
