Warfighter Integration Engineer - Principal

Purpose:

• Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Warfighter Integration Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.
• In this role you will get to provide technical support to the MDA Chief Architect's Warfighter/International Integration office (MDA/CAI) in its mission as the single point of contact for wargame requirements development and analysis and to the Warfighter for all engineering and technical issues related to the missile defense system. The work is performed as part of an on-site contractor team at MDA facilities at the MDIOC on Schriever Space Force Base, CO.

Job Description:

• Provide wargame and missile defense subject matter expertise to MDA/ CAC in their role leading the development of MDA's wargame event requirements and post-wargame analysis and reporting.
• Assist CAC by providing practical wargame experience to shape the content of MDA's wargame walk-up events, tabletop exercises and capstone events.
• Provide expertise to CAC in wargame doctrine and best practices employed by the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMD), Services and Defense Agencies.
• Support CAC in conducting future missile defense system architectural analyses with international partners and warfighting CCMDs.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum 12+ years experience in missile defense-related or other DoD large project with specific experience in wargame development and execution, systems analysis, and engineering for defense-related programs and a Masters degree in a STEM field.
• Must have the ability to plan and execute required support, develop clear and concise written products, and present wargame and missile defense technical matters to MDA senior leaders and MDA warfighter and international working group meetings in support of MDA/CAC.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance, preferred.

Security Requirements:

• Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel, to include international locations, may be required.
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
