Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance legacy applications by analyzing business logic and translating specifications into updated analytics, reports, and portals.
- Design and implement interactive reports and dashboards using on-premise and cloud platforms.
- Develop logic flow charts and block diagrams to support data migration and dashboard workflows.
- Support operations and maintenance activities, including patching, performance tuning, and incident response.
- Assist in modernization efforts, including refactoring legacy code and integrating with newer platforms.
- Support operations and maintenance of geospatial systems, including patching, performance tuning, and data updates.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize sustainment tasks.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for deployed dashboards and data services.
- Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation (typically one week every four weeks).
- Prepare system-level documentation, operator instructions, and change management artifacts.
- Support secure coding practices and contribute to DevSecOps initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least five (5) years of general programming experience, including three (3) years supporting legacy systems or enterprise sustainment.
- At least one of the following certifications: CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH.
Desired Qualificaion:
- Experience with WebFOCUS, Java, or mainframe-based systems.
- Familiarity with change management, configuration control, and release management.
- Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, and data warehouse sustainment.
