Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer II to join our Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) team, specializing in high-mix production environments. As a Test Engineer II, you will play a critical role in testing, troubleshooting, and validating circuit card assemblies (CCAs) used in defense systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, quality, and performance of our CCAs in a fast-paced and dynamic production setting.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

What You Will Do
- Coordinate test equipment between internal customers, ensuring proper availability, calibration, and functionality.
- Maintain, review, and improve production test procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Work closely with Test Operators, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, and Operations staff, requiring strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Train Test Operators on test procedures, equipment usage, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Troubleshoot test equipment issues and failures on Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) through data analysis, visual inspection, and hands-on diagnostics.
- Analyze systemic production failures and identify trends in defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Support the integration and build of new test setups and processes.
- Participate in and lead process improvement initiatives to optimize testing workflows and reduce defects in the manufacturing process.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of 1 years of experience with RF testing equipment.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Proficiency in working with schematics, diagrams, layouts, and written/verbal instructions to support production testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Hands-on experience in a production environment, particularly with Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.
